Bacon-wrapped crackers

Club crackers wrapped in bacon, sprinkled with brown sugar and smoked till crispy.

Ingredients

  • 10 club crackers
  • 1 lb bacon thin cut
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  • Cut the bacon strip in half and wrap each cracker lengthwise tucking the ends underneath.
  • Lay each bacon wrapped cracker on a wire cooking rack on top of a baking sheet or foil pan.
  • Take a pinch of brown sugar and sprinkle on top of each piece of bacon. Gently spread the brown sugar with your finger on the bacon for an even application.
  • Smoke the bacon wrapped crackers at 225°F for 15 minutes and then increase the temperature to 350°F to finish.
  • The total time should be around 30-40 minutes or until the bacon is cooked to your liking.
