Use this rub to tenderize and enhance the flavor of meat.
- ¼ cup ground coffee
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
Measure out ingredients.
Mix thoroughly before use.
Apply from roughly 12 inches above your meat for even coverage.
Apply at least an hour prior to smoking or cooking.
Store leftover rub in an airtight container for longer shelf life.
