Smoked Bacon Roses

Thick-cut bacon, seasoned and rolled into roses for a different spin on flowers for your Valentine.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb maple bacon about 16 slices
  • 2 tbsp barbecue rub Any rub suitable for pork, or use our Smoke Kitchen Honey Garlic rub.

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 350°F.
  • Lay out your bacon slices on a cutting board and season them with the Honey Garlic rub.
  • Roll each slice of bacon into a rose-shape and secure with two toothpicks at the bottom in the shape of a cross.
  • Place your bacon roses on a wire rack atop a baking sheet.
  • Place your rack on the smoker and let cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the bacon is crisped to your liking.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
