Walking Tacos on the Griddle

Messy, craveable, and made to move, these walking tacos take classic taco flavors and load them into a crunchy, walk-around feast. Sizzling smoky beef, melty cheese, and tangy toppings fresh off the griddle crash together in every bite, finished with a cool, crispy crunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 4 tbsp fajita seasoning Use our homemade recipe or any store bought taco or fajita seasoning will work.
  • ¼ cup hot sauce or salsa
  • 2 cups Mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 1 red onion diced
  • 1 head iceburg lettuce shredded
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 2 limes cut into wedges
  • as many 1oz bags of your favourite chips

Instructions

  • Preheat one section of your griddle to medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and begin to brown. Season with the homemade fajita seasoning. Continue to cook and occasionally mix and break up with a spatula.
  • Once browned, reduce heat to low and add hot sauce or salsa. Mix through.
  • Assemble your taco topping station with all of your taco toppings, taco meat, and chips.
  • To make your walking taco, start by slightly crushing your chips, then cut the chip bag open horizontally. Load up the bag with ground beef, toppings and sauces of choice.

Additional toppings, optional but highly recommended; Mild hot sauce, spicy hot sauce, Sweet Heat Sauce, hatch chilis, and Mexican crema
